DANCE

Outstanding dancers and dance companies present their choreography in two events at the Festival. The Thursday evening Welcoming Celebration, featuring all disciplines, includes dance. In addition, a public dance concert is presented Saturday morning. Performers and organizations in all dance styles are invited to participate in adjudications throughout Michigan. Expert judges make selections for the Festival based on technical and choreographic merit. The Festival is designed to provide a valuable learning experience for students and teachers. Dancers will be able to take classes in technique and composition taught by several of the finest dance educators in the state.
